The exceptional standard of interiors on board large yachts has become synonymous with luxury and style. Interiors reflect the vision of sophisticated yacht owners and are their legacy for the future. We see a similar trend developing in private aviation, where the interiors of personal planes are being developed into icons of taste and design. As private aircraft increase in size, demand for top quality interiors has also risen. Stuik & Hamerslag Aviation is a separate business division operating in this niche market, but drawing on the vast experience of the parent company in designing and equipping super yachts to an exceptional standard. At the same time, we recognise that an alternative approach is needed to meet the unique requirements of the aviation industry. Struik & Hamerslag clients are welcomed at our specialist aviation facilities, where aircraft interiors are produced to match clients' exacting designs.
Although the number of new offshore platforms is falling, hundreds of production units still remain operational in the North Sea, and beyond. Struik & Hamerslag has been involved in the fitting out of many offshore platforms and understands the specific requirements and logistics of these vessels. As well as the shore based interior refurbishment of platforms, Struik & Hamerslag also undertakes in-situ specialist conversions, which enable platforms to remain operational whilst being refurbished. From engineering design to installation, Struik & Hamerslag's dedicated team of qualified and highly trained staff will oversea the success of your project.
Our UK based sister company, Struik & Hamerslag UK Ltd, produces interior works for projects to the same high standard as the parent company in the Netherlands. In addition to manufacturing interiors, this business also provides special finishes from our centre of excellence in Norfolk, England. Inspired by the unique ideas of our interior designers, where a natural finish is not available, we are able to fabricate one, be it gold or silver leaf, resin based metals or bespoke artwork.
Struik & Hamerslag has been providing interiors for commercial vessels since the company was founded in 1964. An unrivalled understanding of the specific requirements for ships' accommodation enable us to provide interiors for virtually every type of vessel afloat today. Repairs and conversions of interiors also form a central part of our business, drawing on our vast experience of this work. Prefabrication and preparation is undertaken at our Dutch base in Strijen, whilst interior conversions can be undertaken worldwide.
